STRUCTURE

VigiCell is a simplified private stock company ("société anonyme simplifiée", SAS) with share capital of €211,951, an Executive Board, a Board of Directors and a Scientific Advisory Board.

  • The Executive Board is chaired by Jean-Emmanuel Gilbert PhD, a specialist in materials science and the environment. Jean-Emmanuel has headed up VigiCell since 2002.
  • The Board of Directors is chaired by Isaac Béhar PhD (a physicist, business angel and the founder & former CEO of COFLEXIP, now part of the TECHNIP engineering company) and includes Pierre Jacquard (a former Chairman of the "Institut Français du Petrole", the French Petroleum Institute) and a representative of the SucSeed seed fund.
  • The Scientific Advisory Board is chaired by Yolène Thomas PhD (co-founder of VigiCell, a Research Director in biological sciences at the CNRS, with over 25 years of experience in immunology research in France and the USA (Columbia University Medical School, INSERM and CNRS).

VigiCell is a privately-owned, fully independent company. Its shares are held by private individuals (mainly the company founders) and two corporate bodies :

  • SucSeed, a specialist biotech & IT seed fund owned by private individuals .
  • ADDES SAS, a company which assembles consortia of small industrial businesses with innovative technologies for sustainable development (e.g. energy from waste, elimination of noxious odours and VOCs, trapping and analysis of airborne pollution).
